The Matthew Galligan Scholarship https://www.sacredheart.edu/offices–departments-directory/university-advancement/scholarships–special-funds/matthew-galligan-scholarship/was established in late 2020 at Sacred Heart University in CT, where Matt was a student when diagnosed, and from where his Dad, Mike, is an alumnus (MBA ’90). The scholarship provides financial assistance to five worthy students each year who are suffering from a chronic or terminal illness. It is our hope that by providing financial assistance to students with these conditions we will continue Matt’s legacy of giving to others.
